Erika Kay | visual artist | oil & acrylics
Erika Kay is a Berlin-born visual artist currently based in Cyprus, working primarily with acrylic and oil. Her practice moves between abstraction and realism, exploring memory, identity, and the psychological power of colour. Red, blue, and green form a personal symbolic language in her recent works — each carrying meaning, yet intentionally open to interpretation. Kay approaches her art with emotional intensity and conceptual awareness, guided by mood but shaped through strict self-reflection. Her work invites viewers to project their own experiences onto the canvas, creating a dialogue between artist and observer. Currently studying Fine Art in the Cambridge International A Level program, her artworks have already received first and second place awards. Erika Kay sees art as psychological and transformative — not merely to be exhibited, but to be deeply experienced by the right audience.
