Zhiwei Bai: Multidisciplinary Artist and Art Director

Bai Zhiwei (born 1981) lives and works in Shenzhen. As an artist and art director, he engages in a multidisciplinary practice exploring the interactions between sound, visual and moving images, technology, and space. Grounded in bodily experience, his work focuses on individual memory, perceptual structures, mysticism, and the ways in which technology shapes perception and experience.He is the founder of BAIS DESIGN and was recognized by Forbes China as one of the “Most Promising Designers.” His work has been presented internationally in institutions and exhibitions across the United States, France, Poland, Japan, Switzerland, Finland, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Czech Republic, Russia, South Korea, Canada, Australia, and Bulgaria, among other locations, and has received multiple awards.
