Bertan zer is a prominent Turkish cinematographer and Director of Photography (DOP) whose visual language has become a defining element of contemporary Turkish cinema. Born in Istanbul in 1980, Bertan zer began his academic journey in the Radio-TV department of Trakya University before graduating from the prestigious Cinema department at Marmara University. This rigorous educational background provided the foundation for a career that seamlessly blends technical precision with artistic sensitivity. His professional path started in the fast-paced world of television journalism, where he worked as a cameraman for the legendary news show 32. Gn.
