Shunsuke Miyatake, often known as Take, is a distinguished photographer based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, whose work serves as a profound exploration of human culture and the nuances of everyday existence. Since moving to Cambodia in 2016, Shunsuke Miyatake has dedicated his practice to "Photography for Good," a philosophy that leverages visual storytelling to create social impact and foster empathy. He is the visionary behind the Phnom Penh Photography Collective and a co-founder of ART4FOOD, a creative campaign and social art gallery that supports sustainable ecosystems for local communities, including street vendors and cyclo drivers. His portfolio is characterized by a deep engagement with his subjects, ranging from his first solo exhibition, "PORTRAITS OF IKIGAI," to ongoing thematic projects like "Taste of Life," "Singles," and "Soil." His work has been recognized globally, notably winning the Single Images category of the 7th Annual Featureshoot Emerging Photography Awards in 2021.
