Cezary Rucki | Contemporary Fine Art and Photography Studio

Cezary Rucki is a Polish artist and photographer based in Warsaw and London, whose work primarily explores the boundaries of photography, fine art, installation, and sculpture. Born in 1994 in Szczecin, Cezary Rucki graduated from Warsaw Film School in 2023 and completed an MA in Photography at the Royal College of Art in 2024. With over ten years of professional experience, his practice has evolved from portrait photography into a diverse multi-medium approach that incorporates post-production, gifs, montages, and installations. The central theme of Cezary Rucki’s artistic practice is the investigation of mental health, intimacy, and the ineffable aspects of human emotion. He aims to present what is difficult to articulate visually, drawing on themes of vulnerability and rawness. Notable projects include "Unraveling Identity of Ghetto Classics," "Elegy to the Black Matter," and the "All Is Well" series, which showcase his ability to blend in-depth observation of reality with conceptual exploration. His works, such as "Insomnia," "Burning (Warsaw)," and "Soaking (Red)," challenge the limitations of photography while telling deeply personal and carnal stories. Cezary Rucki has also been involved in artistic direction for music videos and has designed covers for both books and music albums. His works have been exhibited internationally and featured in various publications, reflecting his ongoing dialogue with the possibilities and intellectual dimensions of contemporary visual media.
