e.Trash: Immersive Sound Design and Hybrid Performance Art
e.Trash is a multi-talented musician, performance artist, and sound designer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Born in 1997, e.Trash has established a creative practice that bridges the gap between club culture, post-internet aesthetics, and contemporary performance art. The work is characterized by a visceral and immersive approach to sound design, often described as a choreographic force that shapes movement, emotion, and atmosphere in real time. One of the signature works, RAW/FLESH/FORM, is a hybrid performance set in raw architectural spaces like Panoptikonnet and BASEMENT, blending electronic music with physical presence and scenography. In addition to solo performances, e.Trash collaborates on conceptual pieces such as Plant-Based Nothingness with artist Patrice Fogholm, where the sound design evokes a subtle atmosphere of decay and suspension using fragile textures and sonic voids. Other significant projects include Shh..., an immersive journey through the emotional landscape of stress using poetry and noise, and various sound designs for Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) shows like Netherworld and Fear The Dome: WAR. Through interactive installations and 360-degree surround soundscapes, e.Trash invites participants to physically interact with sound, translating raw data and personal reflections into complex sensory experiences that oscillate between ritual and rave.
