Marco De Gregorio Architect - Architect, Chair designer, Digital Artist.
Marco De Gregorio qualified as an Architect in 2004 in Italy. He has garnered experience in various architectural firms and has undertaken numerous private projects. In 2005, he relocated to Barcelona, where he was employed at the EMBT Miralles-Tagliabue architecture firm. Since 2008 he is having his own architecture practice, a multidisciplinary architecture studio, De Gregorio Henriksen Architects carrying out projects ranging from architecture to product design and furthermore graphical and painting artworks. Beside to the architecture practice, MDG has been interested in the researching Digital Architecture, pursuing the possibilities of the virtual space, conceptually and aesthetically. A strong influence it has been the encounter with Lebbeus Woods, the avantgarde architecture theory and the pioneer of digital architecture, Marcos Novak. Consequently, digital architecture became significant for MDG as a tool to create his visionary world. MDG has collected a digital photography portfolio over the past 15 years, writing essays and also participates in solo and collective exhibitions as well his works have been published in magazines and books.
