Paz Olivares-Droguett is a Chilean visual artist and photographer based in Valparaiso. Her practice focuses on intimate, human-centered photographic projects, working primarily with portraiture and everyday scenes to explore personal sensibilities, memory, and lived experience. Her creative development was shaped by the years she lived in Argentina and Brazil between 2011 and 2016. She works with both film and digital photography, moving between long-term personal projects and commissioned work. Her photography has been published and commissioned by international media, institutions, and brands including Vogue, NPR, Airbnb, UNICEF, and VIVO. Her work will be featured in an upcoming publication with Imagine5 following a photographic project developed in Patagonia. She is part of the Women Photograph database and a member of the Migrar Photo and Ruda collectives.
