360 XQMX Artist and Writers Residency for Creatives

360 XQMX is a multifaceted residency program located in Ajijic, Jalisco, on the northern shore of Lake Chapala, Mexico. Catering to a diverse range of international creatives, the organization offers three distinct types of residency opportunities: Juried, Independent, and Hosted. The Juried residencies are complimentary, merit-based programs offered through platforms like CaFÉ, often focusing on specific mediums such as photography or mixed media. Independent residencies allow artists and writers to book their own stay in luxury suites, providing a tailored experience where the 360 XQMX team acts as a liaison to the local artistic community, facilitating networking and potential exposure for their work. Hosted residencies are medium-specific, instructional programs led by respected instructors, featuring workshops in areas like oil painting, fiber arts, and creative writing. The facilities at 360 XQMX include a headquARTers comprised of eight to ten suites, each equipped with full kitchens, private baths, and modern amenities like air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The property also features communal spaces designed for relaxation and inspiration, including a stone-lined pool, a jacuzzi, and gym equipment. Beyond the physical space, 360 XQMX fosters a strong intentional community through public salons where residents can share their process and work with local art enthusiasts. By providing a distraction-free environment immersed in the rich culture and traditions of Mexico, 360 XQMX supports the professional development and creative output of visiting performers, writers, and visual artists from around the world.
