Aaron Deng | Visual Artist, Creative Director & Motion Designer
Aaron Deng is a multi-disciplinary visual artist and creative director whose practice bridges the gap between digital media, motion graphics, and experimental design. A graduate of Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Fine Arts, Deng has cultivated a diverse portfolio that ranges from high-energy tour visuals for global musicians to intricate digital simulations. He is widely recognized for his collaborations with artist Lexie Liu, where he has served as Director of Screen Content and Creative Director for major tours, music videos such as Pop Girl, and album packaging. Central to his independent work is DICTE, a program that generates synchronized visual and audio sensations using Arduino and TouchDesigner. This project explores a digitalized perspective of natural elements—Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind—demonstrating Deng's proficiency in generative art and interactive technologies. His professional experience also includes design work for Caroline Polachek’s Desire, I Want To Turn Into You calendar and vinyl packaging, as well as commercial projects for brands like MAC Cosmetics. Whether designing 3D animations, apparel graphics, or immersive wall displays for Paris Fashion Week, Aaron Deng integrates technical expertise with a distinct aesthetic vision. His work is characterized by a seamless blend of VFX, typography, and mixed media, positioning him at the forefront of contemporary digital art and creative direction.
