Anna Chocholi: Media Artist and Motion Designer

Anna Chocholi is a distinguished media artist and motion designer from Greece, currently based in the Netherlands, whose creative practice delves into the realms of emerging spaces, virtual and augmented media, and generative imagery. Her academic background is rooted in the fine arts, having studied painting and media arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki before earning a Master’s degree in Media Technology from Leiden University. This blend of traditional artistic training and advanced technological exploration informs her unique aesthetic. As a multi-faceted creator, Anna Chocholi excels as a music visualizer, art director, and VFX artist. Her portfolio includes collaborations with musical groups like the Phonotribe Project, for whom she created dynamic live visuals, as well as work for projects such as Lastline Project and D.T.R.A.N.E.R. Her experimental short music films for ReSinThesis further demonstrate her ability to synchronize sound and vision. Beyond solo endeavors, Chocholi is a co-founder of the artistic collective Twelve-lab and a member of Stroom, Den Haag. Her work has been exhibited at prestigious venues and festivals, including the Athens Digital Arts Festival, the Biennale of Thessaloniki, and TodaysArt in the Netherlands.
