ArtCity e.V. International Association for Art and Culture
ArtCity e.V. is a non-profit international art and culture association based in Berlin, Germany. Founded to promote transnational artistic activities, the organization serves as a dynamic platform for cultural exchange and social engagement. Under the leadership of chairwoman Louise Amelie, ArtCity e.V. focuses on realizing cultural projects that span classical and contemporary art genres. One of its hallmark initiatives is the Berlin Bishkek Art Weeks, an intercultural festival that explores themes such as migration through fine art, installations, cinema, and performances. The association is committed to fostering understanding between diverse cultures and religions by providing dedicated spaces for artistic collaboration and public dialogue. Beyond curated exhibitions, ArtCity e.V. organizes educational workshops, panel discussions, and events that address pressing societal challenges through the lens of creativity. Its activities remain politically and ideologically independent, emphasizing the development of social justice and democratic values. By networking with regional and international partners, the association provides material and non-material support for independent cultural institutions and youth artist groups. Located in the Kreuzberg district at Moritzplatz, ArtCity e.V. continues to enrich the global art scene by making contemporary art accessible and using it as a powerful tool for empowerment, empathy, and community building.
