Bram Kerkhofs: Innovative Modular Furniture and Structural Object Design

Bram Kerkhofs is an acclaimed Belgian designer based in Holsbeek, near Leuven, whose practice bridges the gap between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary structural engineering. With an educational background in goldsmithing and stone sculpting, Bram Kerkhofs brings a unique focus on knots, hinges, and joints to his furniture and object designs. One of his most recognized projects, the Coil cabinet system, redefines traditional storage by using a semi-transparent curtain of woven elastic rope instead of a rigid shell.
