Elizaveta Ostapenko: Visual artist

Elizaveta Ostapenko (*1999) is a visual artist based in Hamburg (Germany). She graduated from the University of Fine Arts Hamburg in 2024, obtaining a BA degree in Fine Art. Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as the Jubilee Fifth International Print Biennale Yerevan (Armenia), Aparte Gallery (Romania), and Klub der Kuenste der Deichtorhallen Hamburg (Germany). In 2022, Ostapenko was awarded the DAAD Prize and the Rotary Club Strasbourg Prize for Contemporary Art. In 2025, she received the Hans Purrmann Prize of the City of Speyer. Ostapenko’s practice ranges from two-dimensional media such as painting and printmaking to three-dimensional realizations in sculpture. She works with institutional and gallery-based projects as well as private commissions, and is open to interdisciplinary collaborations.
