Flore Lorenté - Fashion and Portrait Photographer Specializing in Analog Imagery
Flore Lorenté is an accomplished portrait and fashion photographer based in Paris, France. After graduating from the École Duperré in 2021 with a focus on editorial fashion imagery, Flore Lorenté has established a unique visual language rooted in analog photography and darkroom craftsmanship. Her professional practice is characterized by a dedication to silver-based processes, where she meticulously develops and prints her work to capture the nuanced textures of skin and paper. Her portfolio includes collaborations with prestigious brands and publications such as Hermès for their Portraits Faubourama series, Rouje, and Badlon magazine. Beyond commercial assignments, Flore Lorenté is deeply invested in personal research projects. Her significant project, Physiopolis, explores themes of naturism and the human body on the Île du Platais, combining contemporary photography with archival research. This work was notably selected for exhibition at the MUCEM in Marseille as part of the Paradis Naturistes exhibition in 2024. As a finalist for the Prix Picto de la Mode 2024, Flore Lorenté continues to push the boundaries of fashion photography through a sensitive, artistic lens. Her work often oscillates between structured editorial compositions and the raw, intimate beauty found in portraits and personal series like Nues and Beauties. By bridging the gap between applied arts and fine art photography, she creates imagery that is both aesthetically compelling and deeply grounded in cultural research.
