H-Lab Studio | Art Direction + Graphic & type design

HH.Lab is a multidisciplinary creative studio working across music, fashion, art, and food, operating at the intersection of visual culture, storytelling, and experience design. Founded in 2022 by creative director and graphic designer Sinuhe Cid, the studio is based in Nantes, France, and functions as both a design laboratory and a platform for artistic exploration. H.Lab approaches each project as a unique ecosystem, where concept, form, and narrative are developed in close dialogue. At its core, H.Lab is driven by a strong focus on artistic direction, with typography and storytelling as foundational tools. The studio works fluidly across disciplines, collaborating with artists, brands, cultural institutions, and independent creators. This multidisciplinary approach allows H.Lab to move freely between commissioned work and self-initiated projects. Typography plays a central role in H.Lab’s visual language. Letters are not only carriers of information but expressive forms in themselves—capable of conveying mood, tension, and identity. The studio often develops custom typographic systems or bespoke lettering as a starting point for its projects.
