Natpavee Wanichnatee: Graphic & Media Design and Creative Technology Portfolio
Natpavee Wanichnatee, also known as Lukmou, is a London-based multidisciplinary designer and artist originally from Bangkok, Thailand. She holds a BA in Graphic and Media Design from the London College of Communication at UAL and is currently pursuing an MA/MSc in Computing and the Creative Industry. Natpavee Wanichnatee focuses on translating intangible concepts into tangible visual media, drawing inspiration from personal experiences, daily problem-solving, and visual media. Her diverse portfolio spans print, editorial design, 3D modeling, and immersive digital environments. Notable projects include Worldly Heavens: Trip, an immersive 360-degree VR video inspired by the tranquility of Railay Beach, and an editorial book project for The Shining that features hand-coptic binding and a comparative analysis of Stephen King's novel and Stanley Kubrick's film. Natpavee Wanichnatee also explores mathematical forms through physical construction, as seen in her S-Klein project, a 3D-printed sculpture exploring the non-orientable geometry of a Klein bottle. Her work has been exhibited at various venues, including the Canal Dream Festival and Refraction at The Hub. By blending traditional graphic design principles with emerging technologies like VR and 3D printing, Natpavee Wanichnatee creates conceptual yet accessible works that challenge the boundaries of dimensionality, material stability, and form. Her creative enthusiasm is driven by the translation of complex subjects into engaging visual narratives across both physical and digital platforms.
