Mikeyokei is an accomplished graphic and type designer based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. With a professional focus on the fusion of historical foundations and contemporary expression, Mikeyokei creates sophisticated typefaces that provide comprehensive support for the Vietnamese language. This core mission stems from an awareness of the linguistic gaps in modern type design, leading Mikeyokei to develop projects that channel Vietnam’s unique aesthetic essence for a global audience. The portfolio of Mikeyokei features significant typeface designs including Mikey Sleek, Cheltender, Cason, Sooper, and Otique. In addition to typography, Mikeyokei excels in brand and packaging design, as seen in projects for Nuff Juice, Bong Hoa Nho, and Koke Kaffe. Mikeyokei has built a strong educational foundation with a Bachelor of Design Studies from RMIT University and specialized training from Type West, Type Design Asia, and Typography Summer School London. Since 2023, Mikeyokei has also contributed as a designer at Chợ Chời Creative, while continuing to explore technical innovation through coding and vibe coding efforts.
