Thibault Huguet: Multidisciplinary Product and Furniture Designer
Thibault Huguet is a multidisciplinary product designer based in Brussels, whose practice bridges industrial design and traditional craftsmanship through an experimental, material-driven approach. Born in 1989 in the Massif Central, France, Huguet founded his studio in 2020 after studying industrial design at the École supérieure d'art et design de Saint-Étienne and working with leading Parisian design agencies. His work often questions existing production methods, exploring new ways of making while developing innovative materials within his workshop at Zaventem Ateliers. Huguet designs bespoke furniture and functional objects for architectural studios and luxury brands, including Cartier, Givenchy, and Paco Rabanne. His notable creations include the LAMP#1, which joined the Mobilier National collections in 2024, and the Plane console, currently furnishing the salons of the Élysée Palace. In addition to his studio work, he co-founded the collective Meet Met Met, curates for Paris Design Week, and teaches at École Boulle in Paris. Huguet frequently collaborates with French and Belgian artisans to create singular, high-end pieces that combine traditional expertise with industrial precision.
