TILT Designhub: A Creative Hub for Design Innovation and Collaboration
TILT Designhub is a multifaceted creative platform and workspace situated in the Havenkwartier district of Deventer, Netherlands. Originally evolving from the Oz. Amsterdam project space, the hub now serves as a central point for the regional design community, dedicated to fostering a healthy design climate through interaction and professional development. TILT Designhub is home to an enthusiastic collective of resident studios, including KERN, Golbach & Co, Studio Ghost, Vormbaas, Studio Susan Bijen, and Anymazed. These professional entities operate TILT as both an active workspace and a knowledge-sharing institution. The hub provides a wide range of services, including intensive brainstorm sessions with design experts, specialized workshops, and rental spaces for presentations, team strategy sessions, and pop-up shop locations. TILT Designhub hosts high-profile events such as the Deventer Interior Design Days (DiDD), The League Extraordinaire mini-exhibitions, and the Sheltersuit Foundation showcases. By combining daily studio practice with public-facing activities like lectures and the monthly Designers' Café, the platform aims to elevate the role of design as a practical tool for storytelling and complex problem-solving. Its mission is to demonstrate the positive potential of design in addressing both societal and business challenges, offering an environment where talent can be nurtured and innovation can thrive. Through its unique industrial setting and collaborative ethos, TILT Designhub connects local designers with businesses and the public, ensuring that creative quality remains both nationally and internationally relevant.
